Welcome to the San Francisco Coin Club
About us
Welcome to the San Francisco Coin Club, where numismatic enthusiasts come together to explore the world of coin collecting. Our club aims to provide a welcoming and educational environment for both novice and experienced collectors.
Once a month we take over a meeting room at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture for an evening dedicated to numismatics — the coins on the table range from pocket change to pieces struck a few miles away at the old San Francisco Mint.
There's no experience required and nothing to prepare. Bring a coin you have a question about, or just bring your curiosity.
San Francisco Coin Club meets on the first Wednesday* of every month at 6:30 PM. Join us in a meeting room located at Fort Mason for an evening dedicated to numismatics!
*Dates occasionally shift — see the list of confirmed meetings.

What to expect
Every meeting follows a simple rhythm. Show up at 6:30, find a seat, and jump in wherever you're comfortable.
Settle in, meet fellow collectors, and see what people brought this month.
Quick announcements — upcoming shows, club news, and anything members should know.
A member presentation or show-and-tell on a corner of numismatics worth digging into.
Bring a coin you're curious about. Get opinions, talk grading, buy, sell, or swap.
Pocket change to double eagles — it all ends up on the table.
You don't need a collection to come to a meeting — just show up on the first Wednesday and introduce yourself.
